Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to women and their families affected by cervical cancer and cervical abnormalities. With Red Goat Productions being run by two women, we were determined to make a compassionate yet compelling series of films for this charity that could help anyone coming to terms with a diagnosis. In this series of films, Moving Forward, Lisa, Suzanne, Dyane, Rebecca, and Liz talk about life after a cervical cancer diagnosis – coming to terms with what they’ve been through, appreciating the simple things in life, and getting back to normal.
All of these women and their loved ones were incredibly honest and open about the effect cervical cancer has had, and continues to have, on their lives and we were able to document a range of very different stories into a series of films that we are very proud of.
