When St Christopher’s Hospice commissioned us to produce its series of 50-year anniversary films, we were in awe to see its pioneering palliative care and education programme in action. The Hospice, set up by Dame Cicely Saunders in 1967 became a blueprint for the modern hospice movement.
This short documentary ‘50 Years of Hospice care’, captures the bright haven of warmth, energy and compassion you feel when you enter St Christopher’s.
This is a place where people come together to celebrate life, to celebrate togetherness with friends and family, alongside highly skilled staff who understand that end of life care requires respect, dignity and support. Working with St Christopher’s has been a privilege and since making the 50-year films, we have continued working with the team here to create a wide range of video content which helps support people to “live as well as they can, for as long as they can.”
