Sunday 8th October is the Royal Parks Half marathon and this year the whole Red Goat team are taking part, raising money for some amazing charities.
In it’s 10th year this stunning central London half marathon, takes in the capital’s world-famous landmarks on closed roads, and four of London’s eight Royal Parks – Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.
It will be Michelle’s fourth, Jade’s second and Declan’s first ever Royal Parks Half . Training has been hard (a few injuries), but we know just how crucial fundraising is for St Christopher’s Hospice and Matthew’s Friends, and we will be pushing ourselves to the limit to get over that finish line.
The Royal Parks Half marathon has been a key event since Red Goat began in 2012. One of our first films was a fundraising promo for the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund, where we documented some of their key supporters running that day…

It’s not just the location that can make a race iconic. The supporters that cheer throughout the route turns the atmosphere electric. Charities, friends, families and members of the public wave banners, shout your name and help you get to that 13 mile mark.
